No, the worry of food rotting in the fields is not “worst case”. I worry about what happens to the 96% who are not farm workers. Impact on our economy of the 96%… of course. But the humanitarian crisis more. And the fear racheted up across the US.
Doing just the economic math, it makes the foreign add at risk truly a drop in the bucket. And the “bucket” threatening to be dumped is here on our soil.
