I read this as an article for Ukraine. But maybe it was more a political pro democrat article. If the latter, my apologies… carry on.

But if this was primarily about Ukraine, know that independents, conservatives and “ghastly” republicans support Ukraine. I have read several articles demonizing republicans lately. It runs the risk of alienating people instead of keeping them in our camp.

The simple addition of “extremist” or “right wing” in front of “republican” is both more accurate and helpful.

Btw… based on the rest of your post, I agree with everything you said. Yet somehow I am an independent, and tended to vote mostly republican in the past… tho that is changing. ( truly only trying to be helpful)
