The one thing that bothers me, and perhaps it is just me, is that you read as extremely well off yet still complaining about money.
Four years ago I walked away from work that was killing me. I had thought I would have to work till 70… or death. But I sat down and planned my escape. I was amazed that it was achievable. And not one single day of regret.
Every one of my former colleagues are still grinding away. Most with better financial situations than me.
They get bombarded with advice to keep working from financial planners. From coworkers. Endless writings of people focused on money instead of happiness. Can’t help but think this article makes the more average guy longing to save their life a bit more hesitant.
