Your mistake, and that of so many progressives, is the belief that a Trump Voter equals a Trump Supporter.

The result is “progressives” fight conservatives (literally), which only drives them underground. Good luck with the polls again!

At least your take is to use psychological warfare and be pleasant about it. But here is the problem. Vast number of Trump Voters do not like him. Despise him. Wish they had any other reasonable choice. The are not the elephant. They logically and rationally do not view Bernie or Elizabeth Warren as a rational alternative.

They held their collective noses and voted for Trump in 2016. Move further left in 2020, and they will again vote Trump… ever so reluctantly.
