Your view of Oregon is silly. You know this is “tree hugger” land, right? The vast, vast majority of Oregonians are not like that. Pretty shameful article if you were being serious. Maybe grow up and treat all people with kindness and respect?

I lived in Oregon, and the SE. I preferred Oregon. However, we found a great number of nice coastal communities on Lake Michigan ( Western Michigan shoreline). This is your chance to find a community that won’t change dramatically within your remaining lifetime… the snowy winters scare away the tourists from living here permanently.
